Brains of Belvoir Quiz 2011
Venue: Bottesford VC Hall on 16th September 2011

A year on already!! Hard to believe, that the Brains of belvoir Quiz has come around again!!

Hotly awaited by the Boffins of Belvoir, and Brains of Bottesford, or is that the Boffins in Botto, and the Brains in Belvoir....the quiz with it's usual mix of sport, music, general knowledge, both hard and easy questions was put together by quizmaster Lion Nigel.

70 people arrived and took up their places in the 13 teams that entered this year.

The rounds came thick and fast, with Quizmaster Lion Nigel at the helm, and Lion Matt as the score keeper.

There was a break at half-time where ploughmans platters were served, and a chance to refill glasses at the bar provided by Lion Mark of the Royal Oak in East Bridgford.

As the rounds rolled on, the atmosphere 'hotted' up' as the teams out in the lead pushed hard to win this years quiz.

Results:

1st - Jebusa 92 points
2nd - The Waltham WOnders 87 points
3rd - The Bullies 85 points

Thanks to all those that helped organise and contribute towards this event. The total raised for charity was in excess of £650.
