Who Are We?
Many of you will know of the Bottesford Annual Bonfire, Boxing Day Duck race and will have wondered at the sight of Father Christmas and his sleigh being pulled throughout the Vale and in the local area collecting on behalf of Dove Cottage Hospice.
The people behind these events are all members of the Vale of Belvoir Lions Club - local people who share a common interest in raising funds, having fun at the same time and helping those a lot less fortunate than most.
Other people, although not members of our club, often help us raise money for good causes. See the page 'Why not help us'

Our Club
Our club was formed in 1979 and has since then raised tens of thousands of pounds over those years and we continue to do so. All our projects attract tremendous local support, the generosity and contributions have made us very successful.
When you see our Lions at fund raising events you now know their commitment is to humanitarian service and the ideals of a better and brighter future.
The Lions motto "We Serve" and the incentive to achieve that aim is highly rewarding - ask any Lion!!
